Nobody loves their love handles, but over time and with age it seems more and more common to have love handles. If you are like me you are sick of your love handles and want them gone.
Not only do you want them gone you want your love handles gone fast. It will take certain activities in order to achieve this goal. So how can you get rid of love handles fast?

There are many exercises that can help you get rid of love handles. I used the exercises below and in a matter of weeks, my love handles were gone. You can have the same results by following these simple exercises below:
- Side Plank Hip Lifts- Do (20-30) on each side for (3-4) sets
- Crunches- (30-50) reps and (3-4 )sets
- Leg Raises- Sit on edge of the chair and raise legs. (10-20) reps (3-4) sets
- Cardio- Walking-Running-Jogging-Swimming-Cycling 30 minutes every other day
- Side Bends- (10-20 reps) and (3-4 set)
Just doing exercises alone will not be enough to get rid of love handles. You will also need to follow a diet and be mindful of what you’re eating that will be the other 50% of your effort towards reaching this goal.
Eat This To Get Rid Of Love Handles Fast
Dieting is always an important part of losing weight and just as exercise alone will not help you lose love handles. Just dieting won’t be enough either.
Combining exercise and dieting is the best way to burn fat successfully. The following is a list of foods that you can eat to get rid of love handles fast:
- Sweet Potatoes- (High is vitamin A,C, and B6)
- Shredded Wheat-(High In Fiber)
- Black Rice- (Great Source Of Antioxidants)
- Guacamole-(High in Fiber/Healthy Fat)

How To Hide Love Handles Till They Are Gone
There are several ways to hide your love handles till they are gone. Avoid wearing your shirt in tucked because having a shirt tucked in will accentuate your love handles and no one wants to do that.
Wearing certain colors will also be beneficial darker colors are always better and more slimming than wearing anything with bright colors. I remember wearing black tops because it helped me to appear slimmer and my love handles at the time weren’t as noticeable.
Try to avoid wearing belts if you can help it. Belts can actually make your love handles appear bigger. When wearing pants it’s best to wear pants at your waist.
wearing a concealing or shaping shirt is great for hiding love handles. If you tend to slouch you should start to stand up straight this is another way to appear thinner. For women, there are bodysuits slimmers and Spanx that will work wonders.
It was a little uncomfortable at times to wear my clothes differently during this time of getting rid of love handles which motivated me, even more, to get rid of them. If you find it uncomfortable too, remember you’re only a few weeks away from the body you want.
Following These Tips, Will Eliminate Your Love Handles Fast
Remember it depends on how much weight you need to lose to determine how fast you will lose your love handles and you can calculate this by burning off the number of calories needed to reach your goal.
Exercising longer than 30 minutes or starting off with a strict diet may be needed to start with if you are needing to lose more weight than you might have expected.
I was 30 pounds overweight and was very strict with diet and exercise and averaged five pounds of weight loss a week for the first three weeks.
The fat was melting off and I loved that, but I couldn’t keep that pace so in week four I was less strict on myself, but still losing weight and moving towards my goal.
I just needed a radical shift in the beginning then once I made it to my goal I was able to eat and exercise in more moderation to keep the fat off along with those awful love handles.
Wearing clothes that were dark in color gave the appearance of being slimmer and helped me to hide love handles for the time frame needed. I encourage you to follow these tips and if you do I know you’ll be rid of your love handles too.
