Below are some tips to help you stop eating out of boredom:
#1. Drink Water
Drinking water can help you alleviate the feeling of boredom.
And can fill you up.
It’s a help healthy substitute that can eliminate over eating.
#2. Eliminate Boredom
The next time you get the urge to eat out or boredom.
Have a plan in place of what you can do instead.
Some examples are exercising, journaling, cleaning your room, or create a to-do list you can work on.
#3. Go On a Walk
Walking is a great way to distract yourself.
Now instead of eating you could go for a walk.
By the time you get back from your walk.
You will notice you’re not hungry anymore in most cases.
And it’s a good way to sidetrack your boredom.
#4. Chew Gum
This is a trick I use when I want to avoid overeating.
You can chew gum to distract your desire to snack on unhealthy foods.
Below are some great alternatives when you are hungry:
Popcorn
Cheese sticks
Carrots
Almonds
